Syneme in Canada

Bulgakov made a parallel between the Name and the icon: "The phoneme corresponds to the colours of the form of an icon, the morpheme to the hieroglyphic character of the original that provides the design for the representation. The syneme is the name itself, the energy of the representation." (from S. Bulgakov, La Philosophy du Verbe et du Nom, 1953).
