The fifth European Network Performing Arts Production (NPAP) workshop will be held on 4-6 May 2015, in London, UK. This event is the eighth in the series of workshops that has been held in Europe and the United States annually since 2009.

This video provides an insight into the Network Performing Arts Production Workshop hosted by the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), in Vienna in March 2013. The 'Near in the Distance' special evening event included a live musical performance between four Austria musicians (Franz Hautzinger - trumpet; Martin Brandlmayr - drums; Martin Siewert -- guitars, lap & pedal steel, electronics; Dieb13 - turntables) based at the mdw venue, and the Alliance Quartet Vienna (Marko Radonic - Violine; Armando Toledo - Violine; Natalia Binkowska - Viola; Johanna Kotschy - Violoncello) located at the Aula Magna of Conservatorio G. Tartini in Trieste, Italy. There was also a remote ballet performance with Austrian dancer Domink Grünbühel, and Rosa Sánchez, of the Barcelona-based Kònic thtr, performing together while located respectively at the mdw venue and Gran Teatre del Liceu Opera House.
